The Sika Originals Romantica Rattan Armchair has the graceful character of traditional wicker furniture, with an intricacy that rewards a closer look. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced Indonesian rattan, its rounded back, woven panels and detailed bindings reflect techniques that have been refined over generations. The natural finish brings warmth and texture to plantation, conservatory and heritage-inspired interiors, while the solid rattan construction gives the chair a reassuring sense of strength beneath its delicate appearance. It is a piece designed to age comfortably into its surroundings rather than follow a passing fashion.

Key Features

Frequent Queries

Is natural rattan strong enough for regular use?
Yes. Rattan is a solid material with excellent natural strength and flexibility. Properly made and cared-for rattan furniture can remain serviceable for many years.

Will there be variations between individual chairs?
Yes. Slight differences in colour, grain, texture and weaving are expected with natural, handcrafted rattan and contribute to the individual character of each piece.

How should I care for the Romantica Armchair?
Dust regularly with a soft cloth or brush and wipe with a lightly damp cloth when required. Keep the chair indoors or in a protected conservatory setting and avoid prolonged moisture, harsh cleaners and strong direct sunlight.
