The Sika Salsa Rattan Counter Stool brings the relaxed character of plantation living into the home, with beautifully worked natural rattan and a warm antique-toned finish. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced Indonesian rattan, its gently curved seat, traditional bindings and graceful frame reveal the skill of experienced wicker makers. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is a solid natural material, giving the Salsa a reassuring strength that belies its light, elegant appearance. At 630mm high, it sits comfortably at a kitchen counter or breakfast bar, adding warmth, texture and a sense of craftsmanship that will remain relevant for years to come.

Frequent Queries
What height bench or counter is this stool suitable for?
With a seat height of approximately 630mm, the Salsa is best suited to standard kitchen benches and counters around 900mm high. We recommend checking your bench height and allowing comfortable legroom before ordering.
Is natural rattan durable enough for everyday use?
Yes. Rattan is a naturally strong, solid material and has been used in furniture making for generations. With sensible indoor use and care, the Salsa is designed to provide many years of service.
Will every Salsa Rattan Stool look exactly the same?
No — and that is part of its character. Natural rattan varies subtly in colour, markings and texture, while the handcrafted construction can result in small differences between pieces. These variations are inherent to genuine natural materials and make each stool individual.
