Ceylon Planter - Medium

The Ceylon Planter brings natural warmth and texture to the home through its richly woven banana leaf construction and softly rounded form. Designed for the Blackwood Plantation Collection, it has the relaxed character of traditional tropical interiors while retaining a substantial, considered presence. The natural fibres introduce depth and variation that only improve the sense of authenticity, making it an easy companion to solid timber furniture, leather seating and collected interiors. Available in three sizes, it can be used individually or grouped to create a more layered display.

Key Features

• Natural banana leaf construction — woven fibres create a warm, tactile surface with genuine variation in colour and texture.
• Available in three sizes — choose the scale that best suits your plant, room or setting, or combine several sizes for a cohesive arrangement.
• Distinctive pedestal form — the raised base gives the planter a more substantial, furniture-like presence than a conventional woven basket.

Why This Piece Endures

• Naturally suited to relaxed interiors — works particularly well within Plantation, farmhouse, lodge and coastal-inspired homes.
• Easy to pair with enduring materials — the warm banana leaf complements oak, reclaimed timber, aged leather, linen and other natural finishes.
• Character rather than uniformity — natural tonal and textural variations are part of the material, giving each planter its own individual appearance.

Frequent Queries

Is the Ceylon Planter suitable for planting directly into?
We recommend keeping plants inside a separate waterproof pot or liner to protect the natural banana leaf from moisture.

Will the colour and weave vary between planters?
Yes. Banana leaf is a natural material, so variations in tone, texture and weave are expected and form part of its character.

How should I care for the planter?
Keep it indoors in a dry environment and away from prolonged moisture or direct outdoor exposure. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush as required.
