The Barbados Dining Chair brings the relaxed elegance of traditional plantation interiors to the dining room, combining rich mahogany with the beautiful texture of natural rattan. Its gently curved back and arms create an inviting, supportive seat, while the dark timber finish gives the chair a grounded sense of presence around the table. The handwoven character of rattan softens the formality of the mahogany, creating a piece that feels equally at home in a coastal residence, country house or richly layered interior. Timeless rather than fashionable, Barbados is designed to add warmth, texture and character for years to come.

Frequent Queries
Is natural rattan durable enough for a dining chair?
Yes. Quality rattan is a strong furniture material and is well suited to normal indoor use. As a natural fibre, it should be protected from prolonged moisture, strong direct sunlight and excessive heat to help preserve its appearance.
Will there be variations between chairs?
Yes. Natural rattan can vary subtly in tone, texture and weave, while mahogany may show differences in grain and colour. These variations are expected characteristics of natural materials rather than imperfections.
How should I care for the Barbados Dining Chair?
Dust the timber and rattan regularly with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush attachment. Wipe spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking the woven rattan. For the upholstered seat, gentle vacuuming and prompt blotting of spills will help maintain its appearance.
