The Alderton Leather Chair combines the warmth of top grain leather with the strength and natural character of solid ash timber. Its gently curved back and supportive proportions give it a welcoming presence, while the exposed timber frame adds a sense of craftsmanship and permanence. Available in olive or black leather, it has the substance of a traditional leather lounge chair while remaining clean and considered in form. Designed to age gracefully, the Alderton is the kind of chair that becomes more familiar and comfortable with years of use.

Top grain leather upholstery — chosen for its natural texture, durability and ability to develop character and a richer patina over time.
Solid ash timber frame — provides a strong, dependable structure while bringing warmth and visible natural grain to the chair.
Supportive wraparound form — the curved back and generous seat create a comfortable, settled sitting position without excessive bulk.

Why This Piece Endures

Easy to place — equally at home beside a fireplace, in a lodge-style living room, home office or as a pair of occasional chairs in a larger lounge.
A lasting material combination — genuine leather and solid timber have a natural warmth that works particularly well with stone, wool, linen and other honest materials.
Designed to improve with age — rather than relying on short-lived trends, the Alderton draws its character from proportion, materials and construction that will remain relevant for years to come.

Frequent Queries

Will the leather change appearance over time?
Yes. Top grain leather naturally develops subtle variations, creasing and patina with use. This is part of the character of genuine leather rather than a defect.

Will every ash timber frame look exactly the same?
No. Solid ash is a natural material, so grain pattern and tone will vary slightly from chair to chair. These variations are part of what gives each piece its individual character.

How should I care for the Alderton Leather Chair?
Dust the leather regularly with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and strong heat sources, and use a suitable leather conditioner occasionally to help maintain the leather over time.
